Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl has gone through some major renovations recently and they are celebrating with a “Month of Giving.” According to the Albuquerque Journal, Holiday Bowl has finished the first phase of an overhaul intended to turn the 60-year-old business into what the owners are calling a 30,000-square-foot “entertainment destination.” Located at 7515 Lomas Boulevard in NE Albuquerque, the venue now has 26 bowling lanes, a full-service restaurant with a full bar that seats 100, a large outdoor patio and more than 50 video and prize games. The lanes have been outfitted with scoring systems, high definition TVs and some have large projection screens.
To celebrate, they are hosting a “Month of Giving” and on January 27th, a portion of the daily sales will benefit SHC. Holiday Bowl has been a long-time partner with SHC, hosting SHC’s annual Strike Out Homelessness annual fundraising event for the last six years. The 7th annual event will be held on October 19, 2019 and we can’t wait to celebrate at the newly renovated venue.
