Cheri Lopez joined Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico in 2018 as Controller and moved to the Associate Executive Director of Finance and Administration in 2020. She has held numerous leadership roles in both private industry and non-profit organizations, always focusing on organizations that further education, affordable housing and the human spirit. Ms. Lopez has extensive experience with boards of directors, strategic growth development, organizational change, comprehensive accounting systems, project management, human resources, and systems implementation, integration, and automation. She has worked on many implementation projects to include centralizing core business functions, building work teams and departments, and mentoring staff to prepare them for their next career move. Ms. Lopez holds an EMBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a BBA from the University of North Florida, and AA degree from the Florida Community College at Jacksonville.
