6th Annual Strike Out Homelessness Bowl-A-Thon & Raffle

All SHC-NM Volunteers need to review, sign, and date Volunteer Manual and Waiver

Purpose

Supportive Housing Coalition is looking for reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working individuals to provide SHC-NM with event support while also providing families and guests with an opportunity for prize-winning and entertainment. We are currently seeking Day of Event Volunteers!

Specific Roles 

Flight 1: 7 am – 1:30 pm (assists with set up)

Flight II: 11 am to 5:30 pm (assists with clean up)

Registration Team

• Ensure all bowlers get signed in and direct them to their lanes; distribute goodie bags; update registrants with scorekeepers

Hospitality Team

• Greet participants and direct them to registration table, silent auction, and raffle; assist with helping bowlers find lane assignments; assist with presenting prizes

Raffle & Silent Auction Team

• Supervise raffle table; explain process; sell tickets; assist with prize distribution

Photography Team (10 am – 4 pm)

• Takes candid photos and teams on day of event

• Friendly and helpful attitude
• Willing to pitch in on all duties as assigned and anywhere else as needed

• An interest and commitment to the programs, goals, and objectives of SHC-NM
• Demonstrated energy and enthusiasm for SHC-NM programs
• Ability to work well in a team environment to get the job done
• Ability to abide by all policies and procedures set forth by SHC-NM

Training Provided

An orientation on SHC-NM mission, history, and job duties will be provided.
